Our Mission - Involving as many neighbors as possible, we create and broadcast content that enriches the lives of people in our community.
One of the great things about radio is that it is inherently local and it is a tool for building community. Internet streaming is a fine supplement to on-air radio. WRAQ-LP broadcasts on the FM band in the traditional sense and on the internet - available anywhere.
WRAQ is proud to select some of our programming from the following:
Global Community Radio
Pacifica Network
Public Radio Exchange
WAMC, Albany
WFMT, Chicago

What is a low power fm radio station?
Low power fm radio stations are non-commercial stations licensed by the FCC. These low power fm stations operate at 100 watts or less and reach a radius of about three to ten miles. Angelica's WRAQ-LP is such a low power fm station.
