What is a low power fm radio station?
Low power fm radio stations are non-commercial stations licensed by the FCC. These low power fm stations operate at 100 watts or less and reach a radius of about three to ten miles. Angelica's WRAQ-LP is such a low power fm station.

Radio, then and now.
One of the great things about radio is that it is inherently local and it is a great tool for building community. Internet streaming is a fine supplement to on-air radio. WRAQ-LP broadcasts on the fm band in the traditional sense and on the internet - available anywhere.
Listen to Lise Avery on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. on WRAQ-LP.
